DAY 7-7 Days of Kwanzaa • A Christian Reflection

Posted by Audrey Breaux on

DAY 7 – Faith (Imani) Trusting God in every season.

As we begin a new year, we stand on faith. Even a small amount of trust in God can move mountains and bring hope in difficult times.

Faith gives us the strength to trust God even in difficult times. Even faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains.

Matthew 17:20 NIV

He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

Faith reminds us that even a small amount of trust in God can lead to big change. In difficult times, holding onto faith is an act of courage and hope.

Reflection:

Faith gives us the strength to trust God even in difficult times. Even faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains.

Daily Reminder:

Faith reminds us that even a small amount of trust in God can lead to significant change. In difficult times, holding onto faith is an act of courage and hope.

Prayer:

Lord God, thank You for the wisdom of Your Word and the reminder that faith, love, and unity matter in our daily lives. Help us carry what we’ve learned into our homes, our communities, and our actions. May we live out these principles with grace and compassion. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The seventh day of Kwanzaa celebrates the principle upon which all others rest. On this first day of January, we celebrate Imani (ee-MAH-nee), which means faith.
